I’ve had a splurge on buying woolly jumpers for the cold weather we have been having in the UK of late. And if the weather forecast is anything to go by it is likely to get worse.
These jumpers are from various shops, New Look, FandF, Primark, TKMaxx by GingerG and Brave Soul and are all very different and range from plain to patterned to number logos. They can also be worn casually for a last minute shopping trip or glammed up with a skirt and knee high boots or some accessories for a night out.
I took a trip to MK last weekend and just had to stop off at Primark. I picked up these tops and boots whilst I was there all at bargain prices. You really can’t beat them but you do have to get there early or be prepared to rummage around to find the good items.
Apologies I haven’t posted anything for a while. I have been on holiday to Tenerife and then was away last weekend on a fitness weekend with some girl friends. And also I have broken my iPad and I feel lost without it. 😥
The big thing for AW 14 seems to be checks of all sizes and colours. I have my check blanket wrap which I have already posted a while ago but another recent purchase is this check longline jacket from New Look. I have worn mine with black leggings, a Primark black vest top, as it’s still quite warm and knee length black boots which were from George at Asda two years ago. I think they make really reasonable priced leather boots that last although I will probably need a new pair for this winter.
I was feeling the mulberry vibe yesterday and wanted to try out my new blanket wrap which I’m loving for this autumn / winter. They are so versatile and will be great for those upcoming Halloween and Bonfire night parties and will keep you nice and cosy when you are stood outside in the cold night air. Mine is a tartan wrap p, which I will link below, but there are a whole host of colours and styles available in the high street.
I have teamed mine with black skinny jeans from H&M with a small turn up and black New Look Chelsea boots. My mulberry coloured chiffon blouse, again New Look, and a black and mulberry Primark handbag.
So I’m on Day 2 of my Exante Diet meal replacements. Now I’ve mentioned before that I lost 2 stone on the Cambridge Diet, however, I have put some of that weight back on what with holidays, days out, birthdays etc etc. so I thought I would try something else and also it’s cheaper than Cambridge. I will you updated with my progress.
You can browse their range of products at http://www.exantediet.com @exantediet
I’ve decided to start wearing some of my heels to work again as I’ve recently moved desks and don’t have to wear boring old safety shoes now. I really think someone should make a high heel safety shoe, or is that a contradiction in terms?
So yesterday I wore my Primark three quarter length stretch trousers with a Primark floral vest top I purchased at the weekend. I teamed these with a cream pair of New Look heels with a hidden platform.
And today I wore a black kimono with black skinny jeans and black wedge shoe boots.
Getting up for work today was a little difficult, to say the least, after a weeks holiday in the sunshine. To add to that my poor little car wouldn’t start so had to get a lift to work so the day didn’t start too well. I wore a pair if black three quarter length Primark trousers and a black vest top with my Matalan kimono and my black New Look gladiator wedge sandals.
I went out shopping this weekend and bought a few more clothes for my holiday. Below you can see my purchases which I will be trying on over the next week and putting together some outfits for my holiday. Stayed tuned for some of my ideas which I hope you will like.
