It is my partners birthday this coming weekend and as usual I have no idea what to buy him. However, I know he wants to buy new skis for our annual ski trip next March. Great I think I’ll buy him a voucher for Decathlon but this is the most complicated process ever. You have to go to a website called Sporeka Gift Cards which very usefully tells me I have to visit a store to purchase a gift voucher. My nearest store is either Oxford or Reading both which are at least an hour away from me on a good day.
Come on Decathlon / Sporeka in this age of online shopping and social media surely you can offer an online gift card?
I’m loving a bit of jewellery at the minute, in particular stack rings, midi rings in fact any ring. And in gold or silver. I also bought these earrings for a bargain £1.50 from Primark at the weekend. I haven’t quite got enough piercings in my ears to wear them all but I gave it a good try.
My most recent expensive indulgence was this Michael Kors, seems to be the designer of the moment, rose gold watch in duty free on my holiday to Tenerife. I really like this colour as it makes a change from gold and silver. I think some outfits looks better with yellow or rose gold as opposed to silver and I am very anal about matching my jewellery to my outfit in so far as if my sandals/shoes have good buckles I have to wear gold accessories.
I just wanted to review an app called Mallzee. It is a personalised shopping app which you can filter to search for exactly what you are looking for. My daughter was looking for a particular style and colour of dress for a holiday this Thursday. Yes, as usual, it was left until the last minute but Mallzee saved us hours of trawling through internet websites. When you have found what you are looking for Mallzee takes you straight to the website of your chosen item to make your purchase. You can also save your choices for later and even ask your friends and family for their opinion before you make that final decision. Genius.
Apologies for not posting for a while but I have been sunning myself in Turkey. I am still there until tomorrow but as I have previously posted I’ve been having trouble with the wifi on my Apple iPhone. However, as usual I have treated myself to a couple of items during my trip. The first being a pair of Guess aviator style sunglasses. I particularly wanted a pink/brown tint to the lenses which is why I went for these ones. These were purchased in the duty free at Gatwick airport. My second treat is a pair of white Birkenstocks. I’m loving anything white at the moment and these are gorgeous. They are really comfortable and fit my feet like a glove. Although, I would recommend trying them on before buying as I am usually a size 6 and I have had to buy a size 5.
I went out shopping this weekend and bought a few more clothes for my holiday. Below you can see my purchases which I will be trying on over the next week and putting together some outfits for my holiday. Stayed tuned for some of my ideas which I hope you will like.
